Unit 2 - ADHD Specific Approaches to Mental Health Assessment and Management
This Unit builds on the content explored in Unit 1, with a specific focus on Mental Health Assessment (including re-assessment) and Management in the context of Adult ADHD
Unit 2 considers a comprehensive mental health , looking through an ADHD lens.
Upon completion of Unit 2, students will have learned to:

Revise & re-examine pre-existing diagnoses and treatment approaches for many of their patients

Construct appropriate and effective Mental Health Care Plans (MHCPs), where relevant
03
Identify and treat previously undetected mood disorders, prior to initiation of psychostimulants
04
Understand the conditions in which consultant referral and management is mandatory
